He was predeceased by: his parents, John Venteicher and Silvina Venteicher; and his sister Ginny Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Mary Pat Mergen; and his great grandchildren, Paisley, Barrett, Emmy, Marlo, Murphy, Cameron and Baby Haas (July2021).

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to All Saints Church and the Mercy Foundation.
