It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Serovy of Cedar, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Avis Rich; his daughters, Terri Hess (Alan) and Sherri Chalupa; his granddaughters, Michelle Zahradnik (Brandon) and Nicole Fetters (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Tyler, Madilyn and Paisley.

As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to Dick's favorite charities.
