He was predeceased by: his parents, I. U. Harken and Henrietta Harken (Deters). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jean Schmudlach of Marion, IA; his children, Lisa Huffman (Bob) of Robins, IA and Michael Harken (Lori) of Waukee, IA; his grandchildren, Andrew Huffman (Casey) and Carly Reisetter (Zach); and his sister Ardys Gentry of Texas. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
