With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Coleson of Cedar, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his brother Dave; and his parents, Boyd Coleson and Erma Coleson. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his sons, Frank (Kim) and Benn (Stacy); his grandchildren, Jeremy Coleson (Jessica), Ryan Coleson Kleinschmidt, Tyler Coleson (Bobbi), Austin Coleson, Alex Coleson and Sebastian Coleson; his stepgrandchildren, Garrett Milota, Gracie Milota, Memphis Wilson and Jackson Wilson; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Ezra, Stella, Nova and Delainey; his siblings, Linda Trott (Dale), Kathy Horner (David), Dan Coleson (Bonnie) and Denice Larsen (Tim); and his sister-in-law Janice Coleson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Salvation Army.
