He was predeceased by: his wife Cecilia; and his sons, Tom and Craig. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Dirksen (Sam) of Hampton, IA, John Stovie (Debby) of Chicago, IL and Brad Stovie (Becky) of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
