It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Randell Rula of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Rula and Beverly Rula; his wife Julie; his stepchildren, Lisa Huggins (Jerry) and Randall Hinrichs (Ivy); his daughter Brandy McDonough (Chris); his stepgrandchildren, Holly, Henry, Marvin and Willow; his grandsons, Nate and Carson; his sisters, Brenda Lane (Randy) and Belinda Caylor (Darden); his brother-in-law Jon Eige; and his brother Robert. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Randy's wishes, inspired by his beloved rescue dog, Molly, were to give all animals forever homes through the ASPCA.
