It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy McQuaid of Cedar, Iowa, born in Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Frederick "Fritz"; and her parents, Paul Meineke and Margaret Meineke (Fisher). She is survived by: her daughter Julia; her brother Duane Meineke; her sister-in-law Linda Meineke; and her former husband Paul J. McQuaid. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and more friends.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Palliative Care Unit at the University of Iowa because Nancy can't take no for an answer.
