It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Gable of Cedar, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Holloway and Margaret Holloway; and her siblings, Charles R. Holloway and Bette Mehegan. She is survived by: her husband Fred Gable; her children, Gary Gable (Sue), Marni Gable and Wendy Downey (David); her grandchildren, Piper and Jack; her nephews, Michael Mehegan (Deborah) and Barry Holloway (Christine); and her niece Caitlin Erickson (Rob). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In honor of Nancy's devotion to her family and community, she requested any donations to be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, The American Cancer Society and Lutheran Family Services.
