He was predeceased by: his parents, Fouad Shaheen and Loutfieh Shaheen (Baba). He is survived by: his wife Houda; his sons, Dorey Shaheen (Amber) and Chris Shaheen; his grandchildren, Shaylee, Alyse, Bryer and Aniston; and his daughter Rania Shaheen.

Memorial donations may be given to St. George Orthodox Church in Cedar Rapids.
