He is survived by: his mother Barbara Jean Sires Jr. (Gifford) of Waterloo; his wife Jane of Cedar Falls; and his children, Shannon T. (Amanda) of Cedar Falls, Sean W. (Laura) of Cedar Falls, Patrick J. Sires (Leah) of Waterloo and Tara B. Smiley of Longmont, CO. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
