It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Mauck of Cedar, Iowa, born in Liscomb, Iowa, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Max departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Max. Though Max may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Benn; his children, Denny (Joanne) of Swisher, Dan (Anna) of Indiana and Debbie of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Dustin (Natalie) of Fairfax and Tori of Swisher; and his sister Melba of Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Asbury Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
