She was predeceased by: her husband Ron Diehl; and her daughter Barbara. She is survived by: her children, Dianne (Ellison), Gary, Jim, Mary Jane (Woodward), John and Dan. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Mercy in Hiawatha, IA.
