He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl Werling and Paula Werling; and his sons, Brett and Daniel Werling. He is survived by: his sons, Craig and Jeff Werling; his brother Kenneth Werling; and his friend Rae Ann Schaefer. He is also survived by grandchildren, great- grandchildren, many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Baptist Church (327 35th St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Baptist Church.
