She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bruce and Lena Bruce (Taylor). She is survived by: her sisters, Melvina Bruce of Marion, IA, Martha Scott of Texas, Betty Tucker (Tommy) of Marion, IA and Alice Covington (Gene) of Clarence, IA.; her husband Anthony "Tony" Murphy; her daughter Patricia Murphy (Bill Pierce) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Sara Murphy-Kirby (Ben Parker), Alicia Patterson (Jake) and Thomas Murphy-Kirby; and her great grandchildren, Anura C. Parker and Lyllian Parker.
