With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Cogil of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norm; and her parents, Hugh Thalken and Veronica Thalken. She is survived by: her children, Christy of Albuquerque, Mike of West Branch, Linda (Sam) of Fairfax, Tim (Jana) of Littleton, Brian (Gail) of Gretna and Craig (Roxanne) of Jamaica, Iowa; and her sister Joan Cunningham of Virginia. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any of the following: Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia, Kansas, Hospice of Mercy, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Epilepsy Foundation or Meth-Wick.
