He is survived by: his children, Larry Harkness (Geralyn), Cheryl King (Ted) and Steven Harkness (Shelly); his grandchildren, Kristin King, Jenny Vanden Heuvel (Dave), Nick Harkness (Britni), Noah Harkness and Matthew Harkness; and his great grandchildren, Dean and William Vanden Heuvel.
