He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd J. Bean and Mary Bean (Grubhoffer); his siblings, Dorothy Mendez and Ronald Bean; and his siblings-in-law, Laverne Wegmann (Mary), Richard Wegmann and Mary Nefzger (Don).

He is survived by: his wife Carol (Wegmann); his sister Linda Guthrie (Larry); his children, Jeff (Rhonda) of Houston, TX, Steve (Angela) of Mason, OH and Amy Prestel (Paul) of Liberty Twp; his grandchildren, Patrick Bean (Carly Norwood), Jeff Bean (Kim), Mike Bean (Mary), Katie Bean (Nick Doarn), Andrew Prestel and Garrett Warren (Carrie); his great grandchild Oliver Warren; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Cox, Janice Russ, Judy Foody (Mike) and Merle Wegmann (Pat).

As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
