It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Marguerite Bailey in Cedar, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara G. Lenz and Harry P. Lenz of Lone Tree; her daughter Pam (Miles); and her brothers, Leo and Clyde Lenz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Bailey (Dan Miller) of West Branch and Barbara Bailey (Del Holland) of Iowa City; her son-in-law Jim Plaugher of Lansing; her grandchildren, Jody Bailey, Zoe Plaugher, Sam Miller, Nathan Miller, Lucy Plaugher, Clara Kienitz and Silas Hugill; and her great grandchildren, Miles, Sawyer and Sydney.
