We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2023, at the age of 85, LeRoy Swore of Cedar, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Swore and Thelma Swore; and his brothers, Chuck, Criss and Rick.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Owen; his children, Scott Swore of Cedar Rapids, Julie Roe (Doug) of The Villages, Shawn Atay (Ersin) of Cedar Rapids and Sara Baldus (Joe) of Cedar Rapids; his daughter-in-law Renee Swore of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Denny Gladwin of Longmont, Colorado, Randy Gladwin of Florida, Darlene Swore of Cedar Rapids, Jerry Swore (Bev) of Boone, Cindy Ystesund (Ken) of Las Cruces and Sandy Swore McCright of Cedar Rapids; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Swore and Sharon Gladwin of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
As a member of St. Ludmila parish and his strong involvement in the annual Kolach Festival/Golf Outing, memorial donations may be given to St. Ludmila in lieu of flowers.
