She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde D. Bean Jr.; her son-in-law Larry Kimmons; and her sisters, Laverna Hanson, Lois DeVoss and Lorraine McQueen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Fred and Bertha Hansohn; her children, Geri Kimmons of Cedar Hill, MO, Tedi Wilson (Tom) of Solon, Cindra (Mike), Scott of Bettendorf and Julia Olson (Bob) of Agency; and her daughter-in-law Adalla Bean of Iowa City. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
