It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Lander of Cedar, Iowa, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leah Lander to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Schultz and Alma Schultz; her husband Clayton Lander of Boone; and her sister Ione Larson. She is survived by: her brother Arlo Schultz of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Brian Smith (Angela), Lindsay Herb (Patrick), Sarah Fried (Marc), Whitney Duitsman (Brett), Alecia Harrison (Tate) and Eric Lander, MD (Kelly). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the St. Luke's Health Foundation and First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 8.5.1 Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral Home.
