He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Meyerhoff and Amelia Meyerhoff (Boddeker); his son Vernal; his siblings, Agnes, Florene, Les and Burt; and his in-laws, William, Marie Schwers, Arnold Schwers and Ambrose Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann (Schwers); his children, James Meyerhoff (Justine) and Jerry Meyerhoff; his siblings, Arlan and Lee; and his sisters-in-law, Kay and Bernadette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Camp Courageous in Monticello.
