Judith Chadima Obituary
In loving memory of Judith Chadima of Cedar, Iowa, who departed this world on April 14, 2025 at the age of 95. Judith leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict Jostes and Helen Jostes (Thompson); her husband Bill; her son Doug; and her siblings, Jane and Tom.
She is survived by: her children, Chris James, Barb Atwood (Tom), Bill Chadima (Sue), Jim Chadima (Cyndi O'Brien) and John Chadima; her daughter-in-law Diann Chadima; her sister Jeanne Froelich; her sister-in-law Gale Jostes; and her grandchildren, Austin Chadima (Jenny), Tyler Chadima, Brooke Croshier-Sidebotham (Joe), Kaylyn Croshier, Emily Hoffman (Chris), Megan Johnson (Chad), Molly James (Mitch Eisenman), Jane Kayl (Jerome), Chad Atwood (Marisa), Jacob Atwood (Laurel), Annie Wingo (Zach), Courtney McLaughlin (Dylan) and Reece Chadima. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Matthew Catholic Church (2310 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
