He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Burger and Ruby Burger; his sister Julie Riley (Ted); and his parents-in-law, Jack and Jeannine Easton.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Burger; his children, Emily Blackhurst, Rachael Ray (Matt Cornell), Laura Burger and Adam Burger (Dana); his grandchildren, Jaeden, Maclain, Olivia, Cailin, Rylan, Owen and Lennox; his siblings, Kay Ann Marten (Denny) and A. William Burger (Sherri); and his siblings-in-law, Paula Sweat (David) and David Easton (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society or the Indian Creek Nature Center in Jon's name.
