In loving memory of Janet Zuber of Cedar, Iowa, who departed this world on January 28, 2025 at the age of 79. Janet leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Weitzel and JoAnn Weitzel. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Zuber of Cedar Rapids, IA; her siblings, Barbara Lent (Gene) of Columbus, OH and Robert Weitzel (Peggy) of Columbus, OH; her daughters, Rebecca Zuber, NJ, Heather Harshman (Dale) of Sherwood, OR and Holly Schwarz (Matt) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her grandchildren, Christian, Isabella Harshman, Noah and Megan Schwarz.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (3634 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Luke's Birth Care Center, Our Savior's Lutheran Church, or the Cedar Rapids Humane Society in Janet's name.
