Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Raftis Jr. of Cedar, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 92, on June 3, 2020. He was predeceased by: his grandson David James Baldridge; his stepgranddaughter Katrina Lee Richards; his brother-in-law Archie Holubar; his niece Karen Holubar; and his parents, James and Alta Raftis Sr. (Brown).
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Van Deussen (Jerry); his grandchildren, Cara Brady (Dan) and Kelly Folkers; his daughter Beverly Baldridge (Dave); his grandchildren, Rachel Leach (Derek) and Dana Tackett (Stanley); his stepdaughters, Deanine Gilbertson (Dave) and Dianna Geers (Mike); his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Max, Mitch and A. J.; his siblings, Elaine Holubar and Robert Raftis (Diane); and his wife Donna Lee Brown. He is also survived by four great granddaughters and five great grandsons.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given any local hospice, to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or to the Shriners Organization.
