He was predeceased by: his grandson Michael Schomer. He is survived by: his wife Shirley E. Heath; his daughter Nancy McRoberts (Jon); his grandchildren, Danielle Schomer of Detroit, Debra McRoberts and James McRoberts of Cedar Rapids; and his sister-in-law Shirley Ward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
