We bid farewell to James Greene of Cedar, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2024 at the age of 72. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Greene and Gwendoline Greene; his sister Ann Greene; his nephew Thomas; his great-nephew Nicholas; and his in-laws, DeWayne and Mary Dlouhy.
He is survived by: his wife Tiffany; his children, Erin Shoop (Bruce) and Jason Greene (Cortney); his grandchildren, Alex Schmidt (Joe), Alyssa Baker (Kelly), Allen Novak, Kylee Shoop and Kasen Shoop; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Brecken, Lainey and Kennedy; his brothers, Robert (Tricia), Dan and Mike (Linda); his sister-in-law Tia (Jeff); his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Nathan, Christopher, Michael, Dawn, Brooke, Christina and Tylee; and his close friend Flurry.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
