It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Konecny of Cedar, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. "Pete" and Lenore Konecny (Skorepa); her uncle Joe Skorepa; and her pet Teddy. She is survived by: her close friends, Marcia Whiteford of Cedar Rapids, Sherri Evans of Anamosa, Tom Sabotta of Anamosa, Ann and Mel Struthers of Cedar Rapids.
Due to the Covid virus, a Celebration of Life will be held later this spring/summer.
