He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William H. Thompson and Cora Thompson (Franklin); his wife Emma Smith; his daughters, Julie O'Brien (Thomas), Orena Young and Cendie Scheetz (Wayne); his grandchildren, Daisy Olson, Jesse Young (Amy), Tara O'Brien, Matthew O'Brien and Richard O'Brien; and his siblings, Donald Thompson and Donna Cepiatis. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
