Evangeline McCort Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evangeline McCort of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Johnson (Jorgensen) and Henry Johnson; her former husband Don McCort; her son Glen McCort; her in-laws, Waldo and Vera McCort; her sisters, Ellie McCaffrey and Maddie Davis; and her grandson Dylan McCort.
She is survived by: her husband VeeGee; her daughter-in-law Karen McCort (Sieck); her grandchildren, Cara Boubin (Troy) and Mason McCort (Samantha Cochrane); and her great grandchildren, Olivia Boubin, Jack Boubin and Forrest McCort.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cottage Grove Place, Building (176 Cottage Grove Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403).
