It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Hender of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eric Hender to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hender and Dorothy Hender (Weiss); his brothers, David Hender and Robert Hender; and his niece Rachael Sparks.
He is survived by: his wife Julie (Waggoner); his daughters, Dayna Moore (Scott) of Lone Tree and Anne Jasper (Duane) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Austin Moore, Spencer Moore, Blake Moore, Erica Bloomhall and Lucille Bloomhall; and his nephew Jacob Hender (Jessica).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Linge Lounge (102 3rd St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401).
In lieu of flowers. memorials may be given to Theatre Cedar Rapids, Tanager Place or charity of choice.
