Ellen Howrey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Howrey of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Corinne Coffman Kaupke and Mason Mills Kaupke; her brother Edward Mason Kaupke; her husband James Fowler Howrey; her daughters, Elizabeth (Greg Lederer) and Melissa (David Holman); her grandchildren, Alexandra (Nicholas Carroll), Madeline Lederer, Emily, Andrew and Charles Holman; and her great grandchildren, Theodore, Annemarie Carroll and Coral Litzinger.
Donations in honor of Ellen can be made to Oakhill Cemetery Association, Trees Forever or Cedar Rapids Garden Club for post-derecho beautification.
