He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frederick Meineke (Fritz) and Nancy McQuaid; and his parents, Paul Meineke and Margaret Meineke. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Iverson, Nicholas Meineke and Sara Bracht-Wagner; his niece Julia McQuaid; and his nephews, Robert L Meineke and Richard J Meineke (R. J.).
