It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorris Hatt (Cedar, Iowa), born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Jefferis and Vivian Jefferis (Pickering); and her husband John "Jack" Hatt. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Mitchell (Bill) of Ludington, Al Hatt of Cedar Rapids and Jan Mersch (Joe) of Las Vegas, Nevada; her grandchildren, Amber McClatchy (Johnny) of Texas, TJ, John Mitchell (Emily) of Indiana and Casey Mersch (Jennilee) of Nevada; her great grandchildren, Jessica Viotto, Abbey Leinhauser, Livi Leinhauser, Ella Mitchell, Molly Mitchell, Haylee Mersch and Liam Mersch; her great great grandchild Warren Viotto; and her sister Janet Tompkins of Durant.
