Donald Nau Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Nau of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Nau and Bessie Nau (Headley); his wife Grace Nau (Nealey); his brother Paul R. Nau (Bea); his nephew Jim Nealey; and also, Dwight, Gladys Nealey (Kelly), Burton, Mildred Nealey, Sara Margaret (Nealey), Frank Murrell and Charles Nealey.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Scott Nau (Jackie), Dr. Bradley Nau (Leona) and Julie Perez (David); his grandchildren, Gretchen (Shawn Price), Dr. Peter Nau (Kayla), Benjamin Nau (Jennifer), Emily Nau, Dr. Eric Nau (Leigh Zisko), Jonathan Nau (Danielle), Daniel Perez (Jenna) and Andrew Perez (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Grace, Sophia, Jackson, Preston, Elise, Noah, Nathaniel, Madeline, Nolan, Eleanor, Harper, Quinn, Henry, Isabel, Lillian, Mason and Aaron; and his sister-in-law Nola Nealey (Gail Nau). He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Washington High School Patrons of Performing Arts or Washington High School Athletic Club, 2205 Forest Drive, SE Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52403.
