He is survived by: his wife Joan Cayler; his daughters, Melinda, Melissa Lawrence (Brian) of Chandler, AZ and Melody Smith (Steven) of Marion; his sister Linda Berthot (John) of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Scott Alderson, Stacey Straub, Ariel Pogue, Kyle Lawrence, Evan Smith and Colby Kaplan; his great grandchildren, Lillian and Emmett Straub; his nieces and nephews, Tim Cayler, Mark Cayler, Frank Boyer, Michael Berthot, Crystal Mowrer and Angela Berthot; his siblings-in-law, Janet Boyer of Marion and Jim Cayler (Ann) of Topeka, Kansas; and his cousin Don Kroening of Marion.
