He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Barta and Ann Barta. He is survived by: his children, Jade Barta (Allison) and Mindy Sorg (David); his grandchildren, Emma, Carlie and Landon Sorg; his sister Beverly Sheely; and his nephew Michael Sheely (Eileen).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Humane Society.
