With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher Garcia of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2020 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his mother Betty Cummings (Nyle); his siblings, Julie Waltz (Doug) and Jacob Cummings; his stepbrothers, Chris Cummings (Mary Anne), Coley Cummings (Shawnett) and Kelly Cummings; his nieces and nephews, Alex Waltz (Morgan), Abram Cummings, Violet Cummings, Mira Cummings, Lauren Cummings and Emily Cummings; and his great-nephew Whitton Waltz.

In lieu of flowers, we ask donations to be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Iowa City in Chris's name.
