He was predeceased by: his parents, Blinn Sourwine and Anne Sourwine; his brother Aaron Sourwine; his grandparents, Mary, Chester Sourwine, Aletha and Floyd Collett; and his sister-in-law Joanne Sourwine.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Nurre; his daughters, Abby Kerker (Anthony) of North Liberty, IA, Elly Pelland (Nick) of Apple Valley, MN, Olivia Sourwine of Myrtle Beach, SC, Elizabeth and Rita Sourwine of Marion, IA.; and his siblings, Crystal Baldwin (David), Amy Hoyle (Wayne), Ben Sourwine and Carrie Sourwine.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (1790 14th St, Marion, IA 52302).
