As we bid Brian farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Brian is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Gruhn (Phillips) and Norman Gruhn; his stepfather Larry Witt; and his brother Kenton Gruhn. He is survived by: his sister Krista (Mike Ketcham) of Lake View; his sister-in-law Sandra Gruhn of Manilla; his nieces, Julie Monson (Gruhn), Jacie Hulse (Gruhn), Brooke Odendahl and Kaylee Odendahl; and his nephew Jeffrey Gruhn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
