She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hagen and Lillie Hagen; and her siblings, Violet Ryan and Arnold Hagen. She is survived by: her husband Gene Schmidt of Marion, Iowa; her children, Mark Schmidt (Terri) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Jennifer Johnston (Blair) of Waukee, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Bridget, Jaron and Jackie Johnston.
