She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Miene and Florence Miene; her brothers, Cloy and Paul Miene; her former husband Donald Null; her husband Richard W. Kruse; and her daughter Dawn Barnard.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Clark (Jake); her grandsons, Brian Barnard (Melissa) and Aaron Barnard (Angie); her great grandchildren, Morgan, Bailey, Dillon and Allison Barnard; and her siblings, Mary Chicken and Mark Miene.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church- Comfort Makers in Betty's name.
