He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schlue and Mildred Lillian Schlue (Fromm). He is survived by: his wife Karen Kruewell; his children, Mollie Schlue (Tom Tapp) of Cedar Rapids, Matthew Schlue (Laura) of Phoenix, AZ and Martha Graf (Hans) of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Lillian Tapp, Elsa Graf, Charles Schlue and Alexander Schlue; and his sister Mary Kay Richardson.
