She was predeceased by: her father Carl V. VanTasell; her husband Michael Pierce; and her brother Vinton VanTasell. She is survived by: her mother Eleanor J. VanTasell (O'Brian) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her son Allen Pierce (Tonya) of Marion, IA; and her grandchildren, Roman Pierce, Ayla Pierce and Hunter Hoffman. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
