He is survived by: his mothers-in-law, Margaret Jane Kinne (Marny) and Annette Wright-Merker; his wife Annette; his children, Christopher Kinne Merker (Kayla) and Margaret Helen Merker (Troy Feller); and his grandchildren, Sgt. John Timothy Dwyer, Sophia Kinne Merker and Grace Kathleen Merker.
