He was predeceased by: his siblings, Don Canfield and Carol Drahozal; his children, Sam Canfield and Sarah Canfield; and his parents, Kenneth Canfield and Lucille Canfield.
He is survived by: his wife Michele Miller Canfield; his sons, Thomas Canfield (Rae) and Daniel Canfield; his stepchildren, Stacey Crist (Mitch) and Zach Ovel; his siblings, Cathy Canfield-Jepson and Ted Canfield; his grandchildren, Ari Canfield, Chloe Crist, Hadley Crist, Josie Crist, Tylamin Ovel, Joslynn Ovel and Annabelle Ovel; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Canfield. He is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Ludmila Catholic Church (211 21st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
