He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fettkether and Marian Fettkether (Schuler); and his sister Carol Fettkether. He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Walker (Steve), Christina Fettkether, Meagan Fettkether (Shane Patterson) and Bridget Fettkether; his grandchildren, Madyson, Mackenzie, Ayanna, Jacob, Asia, Haley and Kameron; his great grandchildren, Mehlani, Hayes, Arbor, Adonis, Kairo, Sawyer, Reign and Laylen; and his siblings, Fred Fettkether (Annie), Bill Fettkether (Teresa) and Sharon Rothbart (Kurt).
