He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Fouts and Bonnie Fouts (Lant); and his wife Tima. He is survived by: his former wife Janina Mattus (Robert) of Hattiesburg, MS; his brother Dennis (Marcia) of Iowa City; and his granddaughter Francesca Mattus. He is also survived by niece and nephew.
