It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Rhinehart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Rhinehart and Gayle Rhinehart (Benton); and his brother Robert Rhinehart (Kathy). He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Anne DeMeyer; his pets, Prince FuFu and Lainey; his daughter Kristin Hanson (John); his grandchildren, Allison Hanson and Charlie Hanson; and his siblings, Russell Rhinehart (Mary) of Tiffin, Janet McConnell (Dan) of Cedar Falls, Jack Rhinehart (Mary) of Victor, Craig Rhinehart (Elaine) of Brooklyn, Gary Rhinehart (Jennifer) of Victor, Judy Martin (Gary) of North Liberty, Joyce Shaull (Neil) of Des Moines, Jo Ann McGinley of Colfax and Kathy Treslan (Gary) of Waterloo.
